Doors open, registration, changing: 8:45–9:15 AM
Welcome and Warm up: 9:15– 9:30 AM
Joge Buri–Beginner’s Division* 9:30–10 AM
Happo Buri–Advanced Division 10–10:30 AM
Strike Out–Beginner’s Division 11–11:15AM
Strike Out–Advanced Division 11:15–11:30 AM
Engi–Beginner’s Division 11:30–Noon
Funahara Cup - Engi–Advanced Division Noon–12:30 PM
Lunch Break 12:30–1:00 PM
Kojin Shiai (Bogu Individual)** 1:00–2:30 PM
Dantai (Bogu, 3 person teams)** 2:30–4:00 PM
Special Training as time allows (free) 4–5 PM
All divisions are subject to change depending on the number of participants.
* Beginners are defined as never having tested in Naginata for promotion.
** If enough participants, will be split into men and women sections.
Taikai Costs:
Fee for Beginner or Advanced Divisions $15 ($10 students)
One fee covers any or all contests in Division (1 to 3)
Fee for Kojin Shiai (Individual Bogu): $10
Team Shiai: $30 for the entire 3 person team.
Rental of Naginata: $5
Discount categories:
Students (full time with ID or under 18) $10
Member of any Naginata Federation (ECNF, USNF, CNF, etc) $20
